What is NoulXP?
NoulXPNoulXP is the open standard for System One models: a model becomes a package that any engine runs without code written for it, proves it answers as the model’s own code does, and is asked the same way over HTTP or as an MCP tool.
A NoulXP package is a folder with a noulxp.json manifest that names every file by its SHA-256: portable weights (ONNX or GGUF), how a request becomes model input and how answers are calibrated, as data, and a conformance file of the model’s own answers. Nothing in it executes.
The reference implementation is open source (Apache-2.0): pip install noulxp, then noulxp serve for an HTTP API, noulxp mcp for AI agents, noulxp check to replay the conformance file on your machine, and noulxp calibrate to fit confidence to your own labels. A package that passes its check earns the NoulXP compatible badge.
NoulXP was called OpenDXP until version 0.3.1; packages made then run unchanged.
