You finished Getting started with System One models and claimed your certificate. Here is how to show it off, and how the people you show it to can check it.
Add it to your LinkedIn profile
On your certificate's page, choose Add to LinkedIn profile. LinkedIn opens its "Add license or certification" form with everything filled in:
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Name | Getting started with System One models |
| Issuing organization | System One Models, linked to our company page, so it shows our logo |
| Issue date | The month and year you claimed it |
| Credential ID | Your certificate's number, like hv2n-fqhj-fvn2 |
| Credential URL | Your certificate's page |
Check the form and save. The certificate then appears under Licenses & certifications, and its Show credential button leads to your certificate's page.
To post about it instead, choose Share on LinkedIn: the post shows the certificate itself as its preview image.
Keep a copy
- Download image saves the certificate as a PNG, A4 landscape at print quality.
- Print or save as PDF opens your browser's print dialog with the certificate alone on one A4 page. Choose "Save as PDF" as the printer to keep it as a file.
How anyone checks a certificate
A certificate is only worth what it takes to check it, so every one has three ways back to the proof:
- Its page. Every certificate has an address,
systemonemodels.tech/certificates/followed by its number. The page says who it was issued to, for which course, and when. - Its number. Printed at the top left of the certificate. Typing it into that address finds the same page.
- Its QR code. Printed at the top right. Scanning it with a phone opens the page.
The page also says whether the certificate is still valid. A certificate we revoke says so, in red, on its page and on the image, so an old copy can't pass for a current one.
Don't have one yet? The course is free, takes about an hour, and ends with your own: start it here.
